By creating an account or using Where in the World (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Where in the World is a travel photo mapping platform that allows users to pin locations they have visited, upload photos, and share their travel maps publicly through a personal profile page.
To use the full features of the Service, you must sign in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must choose a username that does not impersonate another person, violate any trademark, or contain offensive language. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign usernames at our discretion.
You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to upload content that:

Your username, display name, places, and photos are publicly accessible on your profile page. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your User Content will be publicly visible. Do not upload content you wish to keep private.
Where in the World offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Subscriptions are processed and managed entirely through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and payment policies. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. Upon deletion, all your data — including places, photos, and profile information — will be permanently removed from our servers. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Where in the World and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including uploaded photos or place information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Where in the World shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Where in the World from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or website.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
